Speaking Sample is the last question in the Duolingo English Test, and it will become a scored question from 1 May 2023 onwards. Therefore, we have stronger reasons to try harder to aim for the highest scores possible because when you send your certified scores to any institution, they will review your Speaking Sample besides your Writing Sample.

  • Describe the geography of the country where you currently live. How does the geography of the country affect its people and its culture?
  • Who is a person you think you have impacted in your life? What impact have you had on the person, and how?
